British middleweight Michael Bisping's bout against former Strikeforce 205 pound champion Gegard Mousasi will be the headline fight on the UFC Fight Night 83 card in London, England on February 27th, 2016.
The UFC made the announcement on Monday after both sides verbally agreed to the fight.
Bisping will celebrate his 37th birthday the day after the fight and has appeared 25 times under the UFC banner. He posted victories in his last two appearances in the octagon – against Thales Leites and C.B. Dollaway – and competed in Australia, Canada, Macau and Scotland in his last five fights.
Mousasi, meanwhile lost his most recent fight to Uriah Hall, but had consecutive victories to his name over Costas Philippou and Dan Henderson prior to that defeat.
Other confirmed fights on the card will see Mike Wilkinson take on Makwan Amirkhani and Norman Parke face Rustam Khabilov.
