Manny Pacquiao revealed that his financial commitments have forced him to return to the ring.
The Filipino superstar retired following his points win over Timothy Bradley in April.
However, on Wednesday Pacquiao confirmed his comeback fight, where he faces American Jessie Vargas on November 5 in Las Vegas.
"Boxing is my main source of income….I can't rely on my salary as a public official," revealed the 37-year-old.
"I'm helping the family of my wife and my own family, as well. Many people also come to me to ask for help."
Pacquiao, who is also currently serving as Senator of the Philippines, made his professional debut in 1995 and has a 58/6 win/loss record.
