Leinster and Ireland flanker Sean O'Brien's recent fitness woes continued when it was revealed he is being treated for an ear condition.
O'Brien missed the Irish province's Champions Cup clash with Bath and their PRO12 fixture against Ulster in recent weeks due to a head injury sustained against Wasps in the Champions Cup.
After further investigation during the return-to-play protocols and having met with an ear specialist, O'Brien is now being treated for the ear issue.
O'Brien has vestibular impairment which affects his balance. He took a limited part in Leinster's training session on Monday and will be assessed on an ongoing basis.
