Marquez suffers big crash in MotoGP Australian GP FP1

Charlotte Hornets center Al Jefferson will be sidelined for the next two to three weeks after suffering a strained left calf.

Jefferson, who underwent an MRI on Monday, sustained the injury in the first quarter of his side’s 87-82 victory over the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday.

Jefferson’s injury is a major blow for the Hornets as he has registered four double-doubles this season and surpassed the 20-point mark on three occasions, with his best performance coming in a 108-94 win over the Dallas Mavericks on November 5, where he scored 31 points on 15 of 18 shooting.

The 30-year-old veteran is averaging 13.7 points, 6.4 rebounds, 1.8 assists and 1.1 blocks per game this season.
