Atlanta Hawks center Dwight Howard was released from hospital on Monday after recovering from a bout of dehydration, according to The Atlanta Journal-Constitution.
Howard was admitted to hospital on Sunday night after feeling unwell on a flight back to Atlanta from China.
The 30-year-old had been in China last week as part of a promotional tour with Peak, a Chinese shoe manufacturer.
During his trip to China, Howard had been working with a personal shooting coach and uploaded numerous videos to his social media accounts.
Born in Atlanta, Howard joined his hometown team in July on a three-year, $70.5 million deal after spending three seasons in Texas with the Houston Rockets.
His career also included stints with the Orlando Magic and the Los Angeles Lakers.
