Juve to snap up Boca youngster

‘It’s an incredible privilege to wear this armband!’ Juan Mata delighted to captain Manchester United

Juventus CEO Giuseppe Marotta has confirmed they will sign Uruguayan teenage sensation Rodrigo Bentancur from Argentine club Boca Juniors.

The Serie A champions secured the buying rights for the 19-year-old midfielder in a deal that saw Carlos Tevez make the move the other way back in 2015.

The Turin-based outfit's CEO revealed to Mediaset that they will complete the transfer of the highly-rated teenager at the end of this season.

"We've got a buying right on Bentancur as part of the sale of Tevez and almost certainly we will make use of it," he said.

"It will be a transfer that we do for the 2017/18 season."

Massimiliano Allegri bolstered his squad with the acquisitions of Gonzalo Higuain, Miralem Pjanic, Marko Pjaca and Mario Lemina this season and have enjoyed a strong start to the campaign, despite losing 2-0 to Inter on Sunday.
