Juventus midfielder Hernanes doesn't begrudge the club's fans for singling him out for abuse following some less than impressive performances this season.
The 31-year-old Brazilian, who signed from Inter Milan in 2015, has struggled to replicate the kind of form that saw Inter sign him from Lazio, where he had an impressive goalscoring rate.
He told Sky Sports that he was struggling in his new environment, but vowed to work hard to reclaim his form.
Hernanes said: "I know very well that my performances last season cannot be compared to what the people here are used to from previous seasons.
"I would have whistled myself as well had I been a fan.
"I changed clubs, though, and it is never easy to do well right away in new circumstances.
"I am determined to improve now and contribute to the team. This Juventus is the strongest team I ever played for throughout my career."
