Raiola aiming to take Matuidi to Juventus

‘Nailed-on penalty on Martial, red for Cahill’ – Solskjaer unhappy with referee after Crystal Palace loss

Mino Raiola, the agent of Paris Saint-Germain midfielder Blaise Matuidi, has revealed that he intends to engineer a move to Juventus for his client.

The France international was courted by the Italian champions in the off-season transfer window, but the move failed to materialise after PSG blocked the move.

And, while Matuidi has featured regularly in the starting line-up following the arrival of manager Unai Emery, he seemingly has his heart set on a move to the Old Lady.

Raiola's recent comments come after he revealed his client's disappointment at the move collapsing.

Speaking to Premium Sport at the start of September, Raiola said: "[Matuidi] is very disappointed to have been taken off of the market by PSG.

"Now we will talk with the club and see. We are all surprised by their withdrawal from negotiations."

Raiola has now moved to clarify his client's situation, telling Gazzetta dello Sport: "In January, if I get the opportunity, I will do everything possible to take Matuidi to Juventus."

Matuidi has made 10 appearances in all competitions for PSG this season, scoring one goal in the process.
