Sharks announce pre-season squad

Sharks head coach Robert du Preez has released the names of his provisional pre-season training squad for next year’s Super Rugby campaign.

In addition to new signings and re-signings named, star players such as Tendai Mtawarira, Coenie Oosthuizen, Keegan Daniel, Lourens Adriaanse, Lwazi Mvovo and Patrick Lambie will add plenty of experience to the Durban outfit's squad.

In naming his provisional squad, du Preez said: "Our squad officially assembled today to start pre-season training.  A structured pre-season programme has been drawn-up to ensure that our players’ fitness and skill set is right up there, once the tournament commences."
