On the mend fast bowler Mustafizur Rahman has been included in a 22 man training group as Bangladesh prepare for their tour of New Zealand later this season.
The group will jet to Australia on December 10th, right after the conclusion of the Bangladesh Premier League domestic T20 competition.
The left-arm paceman underwent surgery earlier this year after sustaining a shoulder injury during a County cricket stint with Sussex in the English summer.
Rubel Hossain, Nasir Hossain, Al-Amin Hossain, Kamrul Islam Rabbi and Mosharraf Hossain have all missed out on the group but are included in the list of players on standby.
Rabbi is the only member of Bangladesh's victorious Second Test XI that has failed to make it into the group.
Uncapped 27-year-old Subashis Roy has been included in the group after being called into the squad for the Tests against England but not earning a cap.
Tanveer Haider, Ebadat Hossain and Nazmul Hossain Shanto are the other uncapped players involved in this training squad.
Tanveer is a leg-spinning allrounder who has 47 first class matches to his name, scoring 2209 runs at 34.51 and taking 84 wickets.
Ebadat is a young paceman who played for the BCB XI against England during their build up to both the ODI and Test series, he has made just two first class apearances.
Shanto is a promising young batsman who was part of the 2016 under-19 World Cup team, he has scored two first class hundreds in 12 matches.
