Podolski, who found himself on the periphery at the Emirates prior to his loan spell in Italy, has been linked with a transfer to Bundesliga outfit Werder Bremen.
However, the Germany international may not be granted a move back to his homeland, and should that be the case he is ready to contribute to the Gunners' cause.
"There will be speculations about my future," Podolski told reporters during a press conference. "It looks like I will return to London. But things can change in the upcoming weeks or even days.
"If need be, I will be at Arsenal next season. It's a great club, and I think that I can help the team."
Looking back on the six months he spent at Inter Milan, where he scored one goal in 17 Serie A appearances, Podolski conceded that "from a sporting perspective it was certainly not the best year".
"But I am still young, in spite of the big 30 now," he said. "I still very much feel like playing football. Let's see what happens. I will not vanish from the football world."
