New UFC interim featherweight champion Max Holloway received a hero’s welcome upon his return to his native Hawaii.
Holloway won the title when he TKO’d Anthony Pettis in the third round of their fight at UFC 206 on Saturday, and family, friends and fans were waiting for him when he arrived home in Waiane.

Holloway has close ties with the Hawaiian community, who have embraced the 25-year old featherweight as he made his rise up the ranks before winning the title last Saturday night.
