Moor to lead Zimbabwe A in practice match against West Indies

Colin Cowherd knows exactly how No. 3 Notre Dame and No. 12 Syracuse will end on Saturday

The Zimbabwe A side that will face West Indies in a three-day practice match set to start on Sunday at Bulawayo Athletic Club has been named.

Peter Moor will captain the local side, which includes the experienced batsmen Chamunorwa Chibhabha and Brian Chari as well as the seasoned bowlers Donald Tiripano and Michael Chinouya.

Despite the three-dayer being only a practice match, the duo of wicketkeeper-batsman Richmond Mutumbami and spinner Tendai Chisoro will be eager to impress as they work their way back into the national team set-up.

The promising batsmen Tarisai Musakanda and Ryan Burl are also in the 14-man Zimbabwe A side that is expected to give West Indies a good run ahead of the two-match Test series in Bulawayo.

The first Test is scheduled for 21-25 October, with the second one pencilled in for 29 October-2 November 2017.

Both Tests will be played at Queens Sports Club.
