Ahal FC 2-1 Arbil (Group C)

Turkmenistan’s Ahal FC got their first-ever win in the group stage when beating Iraq’s Arbil 2-1 at Ashgabat Stadium. Gurban Annayev scored two goals, the first in the 27th minute and a last-minute winner to give his side the win. Luay Salah scored for his side in the 29th minute but that was not enough. The result saw Ahal join Arbil on three points in Group C.


Qadsia SC 2-2 FC Istiklol (Group C)
Kuwaiti side Qadsia SC and FC Istiklol of Tajikistan drew 2-2 in their match at Ali Sabah Al-Salem Stadium in Kuwait City. The homeside opened the scoring in the third minute through Bader Al Mutawa before goals from Manuchekhr Dzhalilov and Dilshod Vasiev gave Istiklol the 2-1 lead at half-time. Al Mutawa got the equaliser and his second goal in the 54th minute to give his side a draw. The win has Qadsia SC top of the group on seven points while Istiklol are second with four points. 


Riffa 2-1 Nejmeh (Group D)
Bahraini side Riffa scored two first-half goals to run out 2-1 winners against Liberia’s Nejmeh and get their first win in Group D at the Bahrain National Stadium. The Riffa goals were score by Jhon Obregon in the 5th minute and Sayed Dhiya in the 35th minute. Nejmeh pulled a goal back through Khaled Al Takahji in the 48th minute. The home side held out for the win and are in third place with three points followed by Nejmeh on zero points. 


Pahang FA 0-1 South China (Group G)
Hong Kong side South China won their third game beating Malaysian side Pahang at Stadium Darul Makmur. The only goal was scored in the 13th minute by Chan Siu Ki. The result puts the side from Hong Kong on top of the table with nine points followed by Pahang on four points.
