Group H: Persib Bandung 1-0 Lao Toyota

Hosts Persib Bandung edged their Group H match-up against Lao Toyota at the Si Jalak Harupat Stadium in Indonesia. A 20th minute goal from skipper Atep Ahmad Rizal, his third goal in the side's last three matches, was the difference between the two sides. The hosts did well to defend their lead and choke possession to deny the Lao side a chance at an equaliser. Lao goalkeeper Chanthakhad Sianphongsay made several excellent saves to deny the hosts a bigger victory. He was unlucky to be responsible for the goal, saving a Tantan shot, only to see midfielder Rizal knock in the rebound. Persib had a chance to double their lead in the 77th minute, but Taufiq misfired and his header hit the crossbar. The result leaves Lao scrambling at the bottom of the group.

Ayeyawady defeated New Radiant 0-3 in their AFC Cup match-up at Rasmee Dhandu Stadium.
