This, following the persisting crisis in the province of Batangas and its nearby provinces and cities caused by the explosion of Taal Volcano.
After 43 years since its last explosion in 1977, Taal Volcano erupted on the afternoon of January 12.
Evacuations were ordered for towns within the shores of Taal Lake. Classes and work were also suspended in Batangas and nearby areas including Metro Manila due to ashfall.
The provincial government has also declared a state of calamity in the province with Alert Level 4 currently raised as of writing time.
