Foton’s Jaja Santiago towers over everyone with PSL Grand Prix MVP

Two-time UAAP Best Spiker Jaja Santiago towered over everybody else after being crowned the 2016 PSL GrandPrix Most Valuable Player.

The top middle blocker of National University has been one of the biggest reasons why Foton captured its second straight PSL Grand Prix championship on Saturday after scoring a 2-game sweep of Petron in the Finals.

Joining Santiago in the list of awardees are teammates Ariel Usher and Maika Ortiz, who were named the 2nd Best Outside hitter and 2nd Best Middle Blocker, respectively.

F2 Logistics’ Aby Maraño was the first Best Middle Blocker, Dawn Macandili, the Best Libero and Kim Fajardo as the Best Setter.

Jovelyn Gonzaga from RC Cola Army was awarded the First Best Opposite hitter and Petron’s Aiza Maizo as the Second Best Outside hitter.

Stephanie Niemer who has shown brilliance all throughout the conference was awarded as the First Best Outside Hitter.

F2 Logistics wrapped up its PSL Grand Prix stint with the bronze medal while Petron settles for the silver after its 0-2 Finals loss to Foton.- Joyce Palad
