According to head coach Roger Gorayeb, Rountree has been under the weather due to cough since last week, even prompted the coach to send the athlete to the hospital.
But a fighter that she is, Rountree still played and delivered the goods for her team.
Rountree took matters in her own hands as she waxed consecutive hits in the fifth set in favor of the High Flyers, 8-4. The open spiker continued with her impressive scoring spree as she put her team on match point, 14-8, before Soltones racked the final point for the, 15-9.
