The University of Sto. Tomas (5-0) and Adamson University (4-0) will put their immaculate records at stake when they lock horns on Saturday at 2 p.m.
Though already semifinals-bound, the win would give Golden Tigresses the much-needed winning momentum come next round as they will be facing the tough Lady Falcons, who are coming off a four-set victory against University of the Philippines.
UST will rally behind the duo of Milena Alessandrini and Eya Laure to counter the prowess of Adamson’s Eli Soyud.
The Far Eastern University (4-1), who is fresh from winning a five-set game, will try to officially book a semifinals ticket as they take on UP (2-2) at 4 p.m.
The Lady Tamaraws retained the driver’s seat in the fourth and fifth set of their five-setter match with University of Perpetual Help while the Lady Maroons will be marching with confidence as they swept their latest assignment.
There won’t be rest for Adamson as they will return on Sunday to clash with the San Beda University (1-3) in the 2 p.m. action.
As the lone school from NCAA who is not yet eliminated, another setback will cost the Red Lionesses their semifinals dream.
