The streak didn’t last long for Jaja Santiago and the Ageo Medics as they bowed to Toyota Autobody Queensies in four sets, 15-25, 25-19, 16-25, 22-25, in the 2018-2019 Japanese V. Premiere League Sunday afternoon at the Saitama City Memorial General Sports Park Gymnasium.
After picking up two straight wins, the Medics showed grit and grind but the Queensies proved to be more solid as the race to Final 6 tightens.
With the loss, the Saitama-based squad fell to a win-loss 6-7 card in the Eastern Conference.
