Kaewpin, Blanco outplay Salas-Johnson duo as Valdez hits triple-double in Creamline’s Game 1 win

In moments where they are needed the most, expect Kuttika Kaewpin, Aleoscar Blanco and Alyssa Valdez to take over.

It was another day in the office for the troika as they brought Creamline a win closer to the Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference 2019 after their four-set victory over PetroGazz during the Game One of the best-of-three Finals earlier.

Kaewpin, Blanco, and Valdez scattered a combined 55-point output, practically handing the Cool Smashers more than two whole sets as they took the Finals lead to inch closer to their back-to-back dreams.

Kaewpin led all scorers with 21 points, connecting 18-out-of-42 spikes for a 42.86 percent conversion rate while firing one-third of the team’s total nine aces.

The Thai import also did wonders manning the floor for the ladies in pink as she also tallied team-high 16 digs.

Fellow Creamline reinforcement Blanco also has had a great night after hammering 15 attacks off 29 attempts and three service aces for 18 hits.

But while she has no kill blocks this game, Blanco still proved to be a thorn for the Angels as she registered game-high 51.17 success rate in spikes.

Valdez, meanwhile, also had a hand in the win.

The Cool Smashers skipper finished with a triple-double performance as she uncorked 16 tallies, 15 digs, and 11 excellent reception.

With this, the trio outplayed PetroGazz hard-hitting duo of Wilma Salas and Janisa Johnson, who managed 18 and 20 markers, respectively, in what could be their most subdued outing yet.

Creamline looks to close the series on Saturday for the Game 2 of the import-flavored conference.
