Manilla Santos-Ng inks deal with Choco Mucho for volleyball comeback

Volleyball legend Manilla Santos-Ng marks her long-awaited awaited volleyball comeback as she is set to play for the Choco Mucho Flying Titans in the upcoming 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference.

The team’s official Twitter account confirmed earlier today Santos-Ng’s return to competition after a decade-long absence, with her last stint back in UAAP Season 71 with the De La Salle University Lady Spikers.

The 5-foot-4 open spiker will play alongside former Lady Eagles Maddie Madayag, Bea de Leon, and Kat Tolentino under the helm of head coach Oliver Almadro.

Santos-Ng is one of the most successful collegiate volleyball players in the country, winning four championships for La Salle and being named Finals MVP in her last playing year.

Donning jersey number 14 for the green and white, she also holds recognition as one of the few La Salle athletes to have her jersey retired.
