Choco Mucho debuts in style, makes quick work of BaliPure

Newcomer Choco Mucho lived up to the pre-season hype as they made quick work of BaliPure, 25-12, 25-18, 25-18, in their debut in the Premier Volleyball League Open Conference, Wednesday, Filoil Flying V Arena.

While they missed the services of the prized middle blocker as head coach Oliver Almadro decided to rest her, the Flying Titans leaned on the impressive performances of Kat Tolentino, Maddie Madayag, and Bang Pineda.

Down by as much as four points in the second game, Choco Mucho showed composure and made a comeback to win the set at 25-18. They never looked back from then on.

Tolentino topscored the Choco Mucho side with 14 points from 10 spikes, two blocks, and two aces. Madayag and Pineda had 11 and eight points, respectively.

Returning legend Manilla Santos-Ng also debuted during the game even scoring two service aces in the first set.
