Creamline dominates Motolite in semis clash, sets title skirmish with Petro Gazz in PVL finals

According to script.

The Creamline Cool Smashers return to the championship round after overpowering Motolite in straight sets, 25-18, 25-15, 25-8, earlier in the 2019 Premier Volleyball League Open Conference semifinal round at the Filoil Flying V Center.

Unlike their slow start in the first game yesterday, the Cool Smashers started hot from the get-go and finished strong, even reducing Motolite to a minimal finish in the third set to take the game.

Team captain Alyssa Valdez took over for Creamline with 15 points, while the duo of Jema Galanza and Michele Gumabao gave ample support with 12 each.

Meanwhile, no player finished in double digits for Motolite, with Myla Pablo reduced to another six-point game.

With the win, the Cool Smashers are off to their fourth consecutive finals stint in the PVL, and is looking to defend their Open Conference crown against the Petro Gazz Angels.

Creamline and Petro Gazz look to draw first blood in Game One of the title series on November 6.
