Ella de Jesus reunites with Valdez, Morado as she signs with Creamline

After playing for three seasons with BanKo Perlas Spikers, former Ateneo spiker Ella de Jesus will reunite with collegiate teammates Alyssa Valdez and Jia Morado as she signed for the Creamline Cool Smashers for this year’s Premier Volleyball League.

This development is confirmed no less than by Lizanne Co, the team’s manager, on her Twitter account.

With the addition of De Jesus in the Cool Smashers’  lair, she is expected to add more firepower to the already stacked team composed mainly by UAAP standouts. De Jesus previously played as a libero for the Perlas Spikers, but was also a decent attacker during her heydays at the Ateneo de Manila University.

Known as the “Ella-vator” for her high-leaping ability, De Jesus was part of the Ateneo team that dethroned thrice-to-beat De La Salle University Lady Spikers back in UAAP Season 76. In Season 77, De Jesus was instrumental in Ateneo’s 16-game winning streak for a back-to-back crown.
