It will purely be beach volleyball stints for SiPons.
Sticking to their plan of skipping indoor tournaments, Sisi Rondina and Bernadeth Pons will not be joining Creamline on the taraflex court and will solely focus on the sands.
It was confirmed by Rondina herself in a tweet responding to a fan whether the two will play alongside Creamline stalwarts Alyssa Valdez, Jia Morado and Jema Galanza whenever the duo has no competitions to compete in.
“Beach Volley lang po kami,” she wrote.

This, in light of their transfer to the Creamline beach volleyball team.
Rebisco Philippines, which backed the country’s national team’s international tournament participation in the past, is now set to support SiPons in their foreign beach volleyball ventures.
Rondina and Pons are expected to participate in local tournaments such as the Beach Volleyball Republic before embarking in an international campaign to join FIVB tournaments and improve the Philippines’ rankings in the world stage.
SiPons are coming off a highly-successful 2019 action.
The two-time PSL Beach Volleyball Cup gold medalists clinched bronze in the 30th Southeast Asian (SEA) Games, ending the country’s 14-year medal drought in the biennial meet.
Aside from dominating the 2019 Rebisco Beach Volleyball International Open, the high-leaping spikers also reached the quarterfinals of the 2019 FIVB Beach Volleyball World Tour Boracay Open, which is the highest finish ever for a Philippine squad in the prestigious tournament.
