New import Janisa Johnson drops 31 as BaliPure nips Petro Gazz

American hitter Janisa Johnson showed no first game jitters in her debut game as BaliPure Water Defenders turned back Petro Gazz Angels in the PVL Reinforced Conference 2018.

BaliPure kept their compusure down the stretch to eke out a 22-25, 25-23, 28-26, 22-25, 15-12 victory for their first win during the second leg of PVL On Tour held at Batangas City.

Johnson, newest addition to BaliPure’s young squad, exploded for 31 markers off 27 kills and four aces.

With the loss, the Stephanie Mercado-led Petro Gazz squad slumped to a three-game losing streak in three games.
