Pablo, three other Lady Warriors under the weather in semis game two

Pocari Sweat Airforce head coach Jasper Jimenez said that team captain Myla Pablo has been nursing a light sprain entering the second game of the best-of-three semifinals in the Philippine Volleyball League (PVL) Reinforced Conference.

At the end of the third set, 21-18, Cesca Raqraquin substituted for Pablo, who seemed drained after throwing a failed backline attack.

Kaya nakita mo medyo emosyonal,” Jimenez said.

Despite feeling under the weather, Pablo still pulled off 15 points for her squad off 14 attacks and an ace, just a few markers from Madeline Palmer.

Three other players, Del Palomata, Angel Antipuesto, and Arielle Love were also feeling sick in that match against the Creamline Cool Smashers.

Love, who fired up during their first meeting, only produced nine points.

Ganun din si Angel,” he said.

With only a day to prepare for the do-or-die game on July 6 at the Filoil Flying V Centre, Coach Jimenez wants his players to rest.

Kailangan naming magrest,” he added.
