Polvorosa responds to ‘curious’ query on sexuality, says ‘really none of your business’

“Our sexuality is really none of your business.”

This is what the former Ateneo Blue Eagle playmaker Ish Polvorosa wrote on Tuesday via his Twitter account as response to a ‘’curious” question on sexuality.

Polvorosa shared a group picture with his Cignal HD Spikers head coach Oliver Almadro and teammates on Monday, where a certain @GandangGino asked “Buti walang ilangan sa team ninyo kahit may mga gay at straight na players?”

A day later, the two-time UAAP champion responded, saying there is no awkwardness between the players as they admire and respect each other.

“To answer your question, wala po. We play the sport we all love and we share a deeper admiration and respect for one another,” Polvorosa wrote.

Polvorosa, whose sexuality has been questioned in the past, further said that the players’ sexuality is a non-factor when they compete and it is not anybody’s business.

“Plus, our sexuality is really none of your business cuz it does not and will not ever affect the way we compete and treat each other on and off the court,” the five-time UAAP Best Setter added.

Polvorosa and the HD Spikers are currently competing in the 2018 Premiere Volleyball League (PVL) Open Conference Men’s Division Spikers Turf.
