Not today: Petron lives to fight another day as they beat F2 in Game 2

The back-to-back championship dream is very much alive for Petron Blaze Spikers as they forced a winner-takes-all in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) Grand Prix 2019.

Fueled by their first defeat of the season and seeing their 17-game come to an end, the defending champions started fresh to defeat F2 Logistics Cargo Movers in four sets, 23-25, 25-23, 25-14, 25-19, in the Game 2 of the best-of-three Finals on Thursday at the FilOil Flying V Center.

Petron looks to complete its quest on Saturday at 7 p.m. for Game 3.

Petron maintained its poise during the crucial moments of the second set and rallied behind their imports to take home the victory against an upstart F2.

Kath Bell and Stephanie Niemer delivered the goods for Shaq delos Santos, with the former unloading 23 kills, a block and an ace for 25 points while the latter tallied 24 hits off 23 spikes and an ace.
