With teams beefing up for the highly-anticipated Philippine Superliga (PSL) All Filipino Conference 2019, Cignal made a bold move of its own as it acquired the services of national team setter Alohi Robins-Hardy.
The announcement was made by the HD Spikers thru their Facebook page, officially welcoming the Fil-Hawaiian playmaker to their fold.
The post read: “Join us as we welcome the newest member of the Cignal HD Spikers Alohi Robins-Hardy. With her wealth of experience and unique skillset, she is sure to bring a new dimension to the HD Spikers in our pursuit for greatness. #TEAMAWESOME #RISEHIGHER”

A former player in the Division 1 volleyball in the United States, the 23-year old setter first came into the Philippine volleyball scene when she suited up for United Volleyball Club last Grand Prix.
She helped the team finished at fifth place as she averaged 24.47 excellent sets per match and 5.07 points each game.

The 6-foot-2 Brigham Young University standout was then included in the 20-woman national team pool who is set to see action in the Southeast Asian Games on November.
With Robins-Hardy running its offense, the Edgar Barroga-mentored squad just became a serious threat to the throne as it parades a stacked local lineup composed of Rachel Ann Daquis, Mylene Paat, Mumay Vivas, Jheck Dionela and Janine Navarro.
The All Filipino Conference starts on June 15.
