The 21-year old outside hitter from Davao expressed how great her experience was donning her former teams’ jersey, saying she has learned a lot from La Salle and F2 Logistics.

“Before setting off on the next chapter of my career, I wanted to let everyone know how great it has been to train and to play for the Green and White & F2 Logistics . I have learned so much from the team – proper guidance, unforgettable advice, and genuine love,” Luna wrote.

For Luna, her four-year stay in Taft was one of the most valuable experience in her life as it molded her as a volleyball player and as a person.

“My 4 years as a Lady Spiker have been the most valuable 4 years of my life. Moving forward, I am certain that I will be able to carry all of my learnings to my next journey,” she said.

She further thanked the significant people who have guided her throughout her collegiate journey, most especially La Salle head coach Ramil de Jesus.

“Thank you very much for all the love and continuous support. I will be forever grateful,” she said.

A Palarong Pambansa standout, Luna came in for La Salle as one of the highly-touted recruits of UAAP Season 78. With her raw power and feisty on-court attitude, she was even hailed as apparent heir to Ara Galang.

During her four-year tenure, she has played reliever for the more defense-minded Des Cheng and Tin Tiamzon. Despite the scarce minutes, she emerged as a three-time champion from Season 78 to 81.

Luna and her new team Cignal will make their debut on Tuesday against Sta. Lucia.
