She surely is reinvigorated after her well-deserved trip to Japan for a vacation.
Sisi Rondina delivered for Petron yet again as the high-flying spiker scored 11 points off 10 attacks and a block in the Blaze Spikers’ domination of PLDT Home Fibr, 25-16, 29-27, 25-22, in the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference held at the Malolos Gym, Bulacan.
Despite playing only two full sets as she came off the bench, the Cebuana still managed to play her A-game.
Rondina missed two games since she had a trip to Japan as an incentive for her better showing during the UAAP Season 81.
As soon as she was subbed in during the second set – much to the delight of the crowd – all that was running into her head was to contribute for her team.
And rightly so.
“Sobrang thankful kasi despite na wala ako the past games, love pa rin nila ako. Sabi naman ni coach, binigyan kami ng trabaho, ginagawa lang namin ‘yung trabaho namin and we give our best talaga,” Rondina said.
“Gusto kong tumulong at gusto ko talagang maglaro sa kung saan man ako nakacommit lalong-lalo na sa teammates ko at team Petron. Thankful ako kasi ganoon sila kasupportive sa akin,” she added.

While they were outscored in the blocks (7-9) and service departments (5-6), Petron leaned on their attacking prowess as Rondina, Ces Molina, and Mika Reyes towed Petron to their fourth victory for this conference.
On Tuesday, the Blaze Spikers will face Generika-Ayala for their sixth game in the conference.
