F2 Logistics shrugs off diesel start, asserts mastery over Sta. Lucia to remain unbeaten

F2 Logistics shrugged off a slow start and asserted their mastery over Sta. Lucia, 25-22, 25-3, 25-12, in the second round of the Philippine Superliga All-Filipino Conference at the Filoil Flying V Center, today.

Just like their first meeting, the Cargo Movers flexed its muscles against the Lady Realtors in straight-sets.

After being down by as much as nine in the early part of the set, F2 Logistics leaned on Ara Galang as the open hitter unleased from her zone, including the set-winning cross-court kill, 25-22.

Unlike the first set, F2 Logistics did not let Sta. Lucia regains momentum as the former limited the latter to three points in the second set. The third set, meanwhile, saw a glimpse of fight from the Lady Realtors but the Cargo Movers were just too good to be true.

Open hitter Kalei Mau scored 12 attacks and an ace while Ara Galang chipped nine attacks, and two blocks to combine for 24 points for the Cargo Movers side, who now remains unbeaten in eight games.

The Cargo Movers limited their error-production to four while scoring more points on attacks (43-26), blocks (9-3), and aces (8-4).

They will next face Foton on July 25.
