Offense prevailed over defense as Foton Tornadoes disposed of Generika Ayala in convincing three sets, 25-16, 28-26, 25-15, on Saturday during the second round of the Philippine Superliga (PSL) All Filipino Conference 2019 at the FilOil Flying V Center in San Juan.
The Blue Energy leaned on their attacks to take the fight out of the Lifesavers, avenging their first-round loss and claiming their sixth consecutive win to solidify their hold at no. 3.
It was a dominant offense game for the Aaron Velez-backed squad after firing 51 big kills as opposed to Generika’s 34.
