It is not every day that your idol will notice your performance in a hard-fought game. And Jasmine Nabor, just like any other, was speechless to the accolade.
Few hours after their cardiac five-set victory against F2 Logistics, PLDT playmaker Jasmine Nabor received a message from Creamline’s Jia Morado – her long-time idol even when they were at the opposing side of the net during their collegiate years.
The national team setter, who currently plays in the rival league, was all praises for the performance of Nabor. In a Twitter message, Morado lauded Nabor for a job well done.
“Congrats Jasmine!! Nice game…. Great setting and teamwork,” Morado said in a message, which Nabor posted on her feed.
In response, Nabor was at a loss for words since she did not expect the message from the person she looks up to.

The PLDT’s playmaker tallied 31 excellent sets during the game on top of her six points. More than this, her team finished the preliminaries at number six and will enter the quarterfinals on a high-note after beating one of the top teams in the league.
