Reclaiming the throne, the F2 Logistics are the champions of the Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) All Filipino Conference 2019.
The Cargo Movers completed a Finals series sweep of Cignal HD Spikers after a quick three-set victory, 25-14, 25-16, 25-19, to clinch their second All-Filipino win and overall fourth conference title, Tuesday at the Mall of Asia Arena.
The newly-crowned champs snapped back-to-back Finals losses after settling for silver behind Petron in last year’s all-local tourney and this year’s Grand Prix conference.
Kalei Mau has had a great showing, steering F2 Logistics back to the peak behind her 19-point effort effort.
Aside from the two consecutive losses in the prelims, it has been a smooth cruise for Ramil de Jesus and his wards towards the top, winning 16-out-of-18 games played this conference.
Cignal settled for silver, improving two place higher from its fourth place finish last year.
F2 Logistics was quick to establish its dominance from the get-go, drilling Cignal to a 23-10 deficit in the first frame and a 22-15 bubble in the second.
Mau scorched hot in the third, denying the HD Spikers of a comeback as she put on the finishing touch with a backrow kill.
