Cha Cruz-Behag has given birth to her first baby with husband Ray Behag, the veteran volleyball player revealed on Instagram Monday evening.
“I could hardly express in words the joy of bringing our son, Leon Sol C. Behag into this world on the evening of October 18, 2019,” wrote the former De La Salle University star as the caption to a photo of her son.
The 31-year old Cruz-Behag also expressed her gratitude to the two doctors who helped and guided her throughout the pregnancy.

I could hardly express in words the joy of bringing our son, Leon Sol C. Behag into this world on the evening of October 18, 2019. #myheartandSOL Thank you to Dr. @jvgermar for our prenatal care for the first half of our pregnancy. Especially going through this for the first time and with all my questions and uncertainties, and just allowing a seamless and open line of communication that kept us well informed and reassured through every step of the way. Thank you so much @doctorshieh for being with us for the latter half of our journey and thank you for helping me through a natural vaginal delivery. Truly experienced your heartfelt guidance and excellent coaching that allowed us, against odds, to deliver normally. We truly felt secured and confident with you by our side. And we really appreciate you seeing us all the way through! You guys are truly answered prayers to our lives and Sol’s! ❤️
Fellow volleyball players Rachel Ann Daquis, Mika Reyes, Dindin Santiago-Manabat, Jia Morado and Kim Fajardo to name a few commented on the photo congratulating the newly-minted mommathlete.
Cruz-Behag skipped her club F2 Logistics’ 2019 Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) campaign to focus on her baby.
