With the new Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) season just around the corner, teams are starting — and have already started — to beef up their respective rosters for yet another high caliber action.
With it comes the rumors and unconfirmed reports on player transfers.
Being one of the best players in the league, eyes were on Sisi Rondina as Petron is reportedly revamping for the 2020 season.
Rondina was rumored to be packing her bags and returning to Foton Tornadoes — a team she played for in 2016 during her PSL debut.
In a tweet Wednesday afternoon, Rondina put a halt to the claims and debunked the rumors on her transfer to Foton.
User @ustevolleyball tweeted, “Legit bang lilipit si @Rondina011 sa Foton?”, which Rondina quote tweeted and replied, “Nope.”

Since joining the squad in 2017, Rondina has largely contributed to Petron’s successes for the past three PSL seasons.
The University of Sto. Tomas standout was instrumental to the Blaze Spikers’ back-to-back PSL All Filipino Conference championships in 2017 and 2018.
She was also a two-time PSL Beach Volleyball Cup gold medalist with Bernadeth Pons.
