Mika Reyes will be donning green jersey anew, but this time for the Sta. Lucia Lady Realtors.
The 25-year old middle blocker is officially introduced by Sta. Lucia on Wednesday via their social media accounts as its newest addition for the forthcoming 2020 Philippine SuperLiga (PSL) Grand Prix next month.
“Mika Reyes said “Yes!” Yes to taking on new challenges. Yes to a new environment. And yes to being a part of #thenewSTALUCIA. And with that, we officially welcome you to the Sta. Lucia family,” the posts read.

It was a bold move for Reyes.
Reyes, a five-time PSL champion, chose to pack her bags from her Petron — her home of three years — to join Sta. Lucia, who has yet to win a title nor reach the semifinals since its arrival in the league im 2017.
But according to the De La Salle University alum, leaving the decorated Blaze Spikers’ nest to move to the Lady Realtors’ is more of her way of challenging herself as a professional athlete.
“As a professional athlete, I couldn’t shy away from challenges. I am a competitor and I love to push myself to the limit,” Reyes wrote in her column for the Daily Tribune on Wednesday.
With Sta. Lucia, she will be reunited former Petron teammate Bang Pineda and former national team member MJ Phillips while getting to play for the first time ever with former collegiate rival Amy Ahomiro.
Reyes and the Lady Realtors will try to improve the team’s eighth-place finish last year when they march to the import-flavored conference next month.
