Ara Galang named PSL Invitationals MVP

Ara Galang

The last time Ara Galang held an MVP plum was in 2013 when she was still donning the La Salle jersey. After five long years, she did it again.

Leading the charge for the F2 Logistics Cargo Movers to its third PSL title, Galang was named as the MVP of the 2018 Chooks-to-Go Philippine Superliga (PSL) Invitationals Cup, Saturday night at the Ynares Sports Arena in Pasig.

Galang played exceptional volleyball, hitting from all sides of the court during F2 Logistics’ comeback win in Game One and masterful four-set victory in Game Two against rival Petron Blaze Spikers.

The do-it-all outside hitter top scored for the Cargo Movers with 18 markers laced with nine excellent reception in Game One, followed by a 15-point output built on 11 kills, three blocks, and an ace to steer the Cargo Movers past the Blaze Spikers.
