Ara Galang had another impressive outing as she scored 14 markers in the F2 Logistics’ straight set win against the Foton Tornadoes in the Philippine Superliga (PSL) All-Filipino Conference.
The 22-year old outside hitter tallied 11 kills, two blocks and an ace for the Cargo Movers, who arrested a two-game skid for an improved 4-2 card.
It was just another day in the office for Galang.
The reigning Invitationals MVP has time and again proven her volleyball prowess in offense and defense, fighting through injuries and still emerging as one of the best outside hitters in the country today.
For everyone who has been watching her since her UAAP days, this isn’t news anymore.
But for coach Air Padda, it is.
In her debut as commentator in the PSL, the Adamson Lady Falcon head coach expressed her admiration to Galang.
In what could be her first time watching Galang play live, Padda couldn’t help but compliment the multi-awarded spiker.
During the 4-1 mark in the second frame, right after Galang fired a booming kill, the soft-spoken Padda said: “Gusto ko siya.”

Galang, according to Padda, may not be flashy with her attacks but she gets the job done as she is a smart player.
The American guru also noted that Galang doesn’t brag, a quality that she also likes about the former La Salle standout.
“Ara Galang is so good. She must be one of the top college players before, I can tell,” Padda said.
“She is not fancy but she is seasoned. She is a seasoned veteran,” she added.
Padda was even further amazed when she learned that the three-time PSL champion has been through a major knee injury and said that it even make her like Galang more.
Shall coach Padda sign up for the ever growing Galang fans club?
