Adamson setter blames faulty reception for meltdown v La Salle

Adamson setter Fhen Emnas was unable to hide her frustration after the Lady Falcons bowed to La Salle, 13-25, 13-25, 16-25, in the UAAP Season 78 women’s volleyball tournament Saturday at the FilOil Flying V Arena in San Juan.

“Kulang sa communication,” she told FOX Sports.

Not a single Adamson player finished in double-digits, with only Mhay Roque and Jema Galanza scoring 9 and 6 points, respectively.

Emnas knows it’s hard to set up against the Lady Spikers’ tall defense, but rued the fact that she couldn’t get a decent first-ball all game long.

The Lady Falcons only had 7 excellent receptions out of 66 attempts, and it definitely gave Emnas a hard time to set up her teammates.

— By Arylle Magtalas
