The WWE heads to Australia for WWE Super Show-Down. Though it’s not part of the usual rotation of known PPVs, this WWE Network Special has plenty of treats for the WWE Universe.
In this article, Fox Sports Philippines presents some of the things that make this special event must-see viewing.
The Last Time Ever
Starting off with one of the headline events, this may be the legit last time HHH and the Undertaker will face each other. Yes, we’ve already heard this before for WrestleMania 28. If this is legitimately the “Last Time Ever”, then this should be enough reason for the WWE Universe to tune in and see these legends square off and end their rivalry.
We Can See John Cena
John Cena has been surprisingly absent from WWE screens for quite some time. He’ll be back from his hiatus and return to TV on Super Show-Down as he tags with Bobby Lashley. Cena may not have much in stake between the Lashley-Elias-Owens drama, but we’re pretty sure he’ll mesh well with the guys and put on a fun and entertaining match.
Daniel Bryan vs The Miz
WWE Super Show-Down houses the next chapter of this engaging blood feud between Daniel Bryan and The Miz. In this battle between mentor and apprentice—or legend vs. try-hard—they up the stakes by making the winner the #1 contender for the WWE Championship. Not only are we getting a development in their story, but there are title implications as well.
AJ Styles vs Samoa Joe
AJ Styles and Samoa Joe squaring off in the ring is already must-see. Their rivalry and prior matches have been a joy to watch and have left the WWE Universe wanting more. Other than pride and domination over the foe, they also battle for the WWE Championship. Add no count-out and no disqualification stipulations, and WWE makes this thrilling match even more compelling.
Shield vs Braun, Drew, and Dolph
The Raw main event scene has been filled by the Shield in one corner. On the other corner are Braun Strowman, Drew McIntyre, and Dolph Ziggler. This picture contains the WWE Champion, IC Champion, and tag champs. At Super Show-Down, we will finally have the clean six-man tag match between these teams so they may finally and properly get their hands on each other as teams. We’ve seen them battle individually, but the mass of humanity and skill in the ring makes this meeting extra compelling.
