Maria Kanellis cleared to come back to WWE

Alexa Bliss reveals the Raw Women’s Survivor Series Team: Raw, Nov. 12, 2018

Maria Kanellis announced on her podcast Mike and Maria in Wonderland that she has been medically cleared to return to WWE after suffering an injury. She suffered a broken wrist while training for an in-ring return and it required her to recover for six weeks.

Maria Kanellis showed off her healed wrist during an episode of her podcast co-hosted by her husband Mike Kanellis. “I will be back,” Maria said as she showed her wrist on camera. Mike followed it up by saying, “Who knows when.” It is indeed unknown whether he’ll join her husband on RAW because Maria is still listed under the SmackDown Live roster on the company’s website.

Maria and Mike Kanellis debuted on SmackDown Live last year as they vowed to educate everyone about the power of love. A few weeks after their debut, Maria had to take a n emergency leave after discovering she was pregnant. She gave birth to their first daughter, Fredrica Moon, in April this year, the same month Mike got sent to RAW after the Superstar Shake-Up. Since then, Maria Kanellis has been training to make an in-ring return.

When she first revealed her wrist injury, Maria said that she’s planning to recover in time for Evolution, WWE’s first all-female PPV, on October 28. Now that she’s cleared, the women’s division will once again experience the true power of love from WWE’s most cheesy couple.
